Second Poomsae Competition

Gibraltar Taekwondo hosted its second Poomsae competition on Sunday 15th March, welcoming a total of 19 competitors who took to the mats to showcase their skills, determination, and continued progress.

Following the success of our first event, this competition once again highlighted the development of our members across all levels. Poomsae is a discipline that demands precision, balance, and focus, and all participants demonstrated great commitment and improvement in their performances.

The atmosphere was fantastic, with strong support from family and friends who came along to encourage our competitors. For some, this was another opportunity to build on previous experience, while for others it marked an important step forward in their journey.

Each performance reflected the hard work and dedication shown during training sessions. Judges were pleased to see improved technique, confidence, and overall presentation across the board, making for a very competitive and enjoyable event.

A total of 19 competitors participated across five groups, with the following results:

The standard continues to rise with every event, making it increasingly challenging and rewarding for all involved.

We would like to congratulate all participants for their effort, discipline, and sportsmanship on the day. Events like these play a crucial role in preparing our members for future competitions, both locally and internationally.
