ABOUT US

Welcome to the Gibraltar Taekwondo Association, affiliated to the British Taekwondo Gibraltar. Our aim is to develop and promote the sport in Gibraltar. British Taekwondo Gibraltar was founded in 1999 and is composed of instructors, judges and administrators. The Gibraltar Taekwondo Association (G.T.A.) along with it's homologous international wing, British Taekwondo Gibraltar are members of the Commonwealth Taekwondo Union (C.T.U.), the Kukkiwon, World Taekwondo Headquarters and British Taekwondo; who are affiliated to the World Taekwondo Federation (W.T.F.) and the European Taekwondo Union (E.T.U.).

 

Head instructors, Master Ernest Garcia and Master Edward Garcia would like to thank all the active members of British Taekwondo Gibraltar, their families and friends for their continued support throughout the years as well as the following organisations:

Masters Edward and Ernest Garcia were awarded the BTCB Silver Commendation Award in 2004 in recognition of their outstanding achievement in the development, promotion and organisation of Gibraltar Taekwondo.

 

The Gibraltar Taekwondo Association is now registered as a Special Member of the Kukkiwon Membership System in South Korea.
