BT YOUTH DEVELOPMENT CAMP

The British Taekwondo Sport Performance Department held a Youth Development Camp in Manchester on Sunday 14th January. Duncan Stewart, Brandon Edmonds Avellano, Basil Broch and Kira Lopez attended the event. They were accompanied by club coach Brandon Avellano and their parents.
The event took place at the GB Taekwondo National Centre, the home of Great Britain's Elite and Development athletes, including the likes of Jade Jones OBE x2 Olympic Champion, x3 European Champion, x1 World Champion, Bradly Sinden x2 World Champion, x1 European Champion, and Bianca Walkden x3 World Champion, x4 European Champion, amongst others. The event consisted of 3 sessions and covered a range of aspects.
We would like to thank the Sport Performance coaching team, Daniel Flesher, Ben Shaw and Natalie Simpson Kidd, for a well delivered camp which our members learnt a lot from. A special thank you to Stephen Jennings for helping us make this happen.
